OUR MISSION
At plateless, we provide a soup kitchen, support education, and run a Clothing Bank to help local children and families in need
SOUPKITCHEN
We believe that access to nutritious food is a fundamental human right. Our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to healthy, nourishing meals.
EDUCATION
We provide educational support to children whose families can’t afford school fees, covering both tuition and mandatory school uniforms.
By ensuring access to education, we empower these children to build a brighter future.
CLOTHING BANK
Local people donate used and sometimes new clothes that we collect and distribute to kids who need them the most. Our goal is to ensure every child has access to clothing, helping to support those in need within our community
SOUPKITCHEN
Our Soupkitchen began by serving meals in the yard at Angel’s Family House.
Thanks to generous donations and sponsors, we were able to adopt a plot of land in early 2025 and set up a container to serve as our kitchen. We fenced in the area to create a safe and secure space for everyone.
We cook large pots of stew over an open fire and prepare side dishes like pap, pasta, and rice on the gas stove inside the container.
We cook three times a week, serving approximately 200 children and 30 adults.
HOW CAN I HELP?
We rely entirely on donations to support the children of Pefferville.
Just $1 can provide a warm meal for a child.
You can make a one-time donation or choose to contribute monthly with any amount you’re comfortable with.
For just $25 a month, you can provide a child with meals for an entire month. Regular donations are vital in helping us provide continuous meals, ensuring the children always have the nourishment they need.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact. With your consistent support, we aim to break the cycle of hunger and food insecurity.

We are Larissa and Angel, a married couple and proud parents of a two-year-old boy.
Larissa is originally from Switzerland and moved to South Africa 3.5 years ago, while Angel is a native of Pefferville.
Our personal experiences and strong connection to this community fuel our passion for making a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
